Contact Community Services provides training and support to school and school district personnel to address barriers to learning. We also offer direct services to students, including an after-school program at Shea Middle School and workshops teaching social/emotional skills.

• Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS)
  Members of our staff are available to act as coaches to schools implementing PBIS—a systematic approach to preventing and responding to school and classroom discipline problems.

• Success Through Early Prevention (STEP)
  Success Through Early Prevention (STEP) is an alternative education program for third through sixth graders whose behavior significantly interferes with classroom instruction.

• Crisis Response Team Training
  Contact provides crisis response team training throughout Onondaga County to prepare school personnel to handle crises within the school community.

• Crisis Response and School Violence Prevention Network
  Throughout the school year, Contact sponsors regular meetings on topics related to crisis response and school violence prevention.
