Twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, Community Connectors at Contact Community Services are answering the call when people dial 2-1-1 seeking help in health and human service areas like housing, food, financial assistance, and employment. But recently, calls regarding mental health assistance have been on the rise. In fact, over the last five years 211CNY has answered nearly 8,000 calls for mental health assistance.
